Job Description

As a Senior Accountant at Henderson CPAs, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced accounting technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in our service delivery. Responsibilities

Be the lead and primary contact with clients in coordinating communications for audits, reviews, compilations and tax returns
Assist in the completion of complex tax return filings for partnerships, corporations and non-profit organizations
Utilize advanced accounting software and technology tools to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
Lead and participate in the preparation of complex financial statements and reports.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the accounting field and assess their potential for integration into our practices.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Collaborate with clients to understand their technology needs and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA License or active pursuit of CPA licensure required. Preference will be given to CPA applicants.
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a CPA firm.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with cutting-edge accounting technologies and a commitment to staying current in the field.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
