Accounting Internship

Job Description

As an Accounting Intern at Henderson CPAs, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of accounting and finance. This internship provides a unique chance to contribute to real-world projects, leverage emerging technologies, and develop valuable skills in a supportive and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in general accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with team members to support client engagements and projects, including tax and audit projects.
Utilize accounting software and technology tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions.
Contribute ideas and insights to ongoing initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited accounting or finance program having completed ACCT 4A, ACCT 4B and ACCT 120A (preferred)
Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
